Nig vs Sudan tie: Nigeria Football Supporters Club goes spiritual.

The Nigeria Football Supporters Club has gone spiritual given last minutes preparation to cheer to victory the Nigeria Super Eagles team in a tie with Sudanese national team today.

The Nigeria Super Eagles will be playing her second match today in the AFCON with Sudan.

With its 1-0 defeat over the 7 times AFCON winners, the Pharaoh of Egypt in their first match in Garoua, all eyes are now on the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

Against this backdrop of wild expectations by the Super Eagles fan across the globe, the Revr. Samuel Ikpea led Nigeria Football Supporters Club has gone spiritual to seek the intervention of God to record another victory today against the Sudanese team.

Raising powerful prayer points at the NFSC camp this morning, the national chairman of the NFSC, Revr (Ambassador ) Samuel Ikpea and his members prayed against any spirit of defeat and official shenanigans on the field of play today. They prayed for the grace of the almighty God to reign in the lives of ‘our indefatigable and unimaginably talented boys today’

‘God of Moses, you liberated us from the hands of the Pharaohs and we shocked the African continent. God you said we should fear not, that he that started this miracle will surely finish it. You will not abandone us midstream. We are overcomers. We shall not only overwhelm the Sudanese today, we shall overcome them with a devastating defeat in Jesus name’ they prayed.

The Nigeria Super Eagles team beat the Pharaohs of Egypt 1-0 in their opening match in the ongoing AFCON tournament. The team will meet with the Sudanese national team today at 5pm Nigeria time.
